Looking for Business Opportunities? Go Global!

There is a world of opportunity in the global market for automotive and heavy duty suppliers. Consider:

  • Total world vehicle production will reach nearly 70 million units in 2011 and provide opportunities for suppliers.
  • The $125 billion aftermarket outside North America is the segment where the greatest growth is expected
  • The global vehicle population of heavy duty trucks and buses has grown 48 percent over the past 10 years, compared to 10 percent passenger car growth worldwide.

MEMA and its market segment associations offer a variety of services and programs to assist you in reaching the global automotive and heavy duty markets.

  • European and China Aftermarket Forums: These groups meet quarterly in Brussels and Shanghai to discuss aftermarket issues specific to the region. Check the MEMA Events section for the next meeting or Contact Bob McKenna, for more information.
